The top 10 Premier League top scorer in history has added Harry Kane after scoring only for Tottenham against West Brom.
Harry Kane just scored the winner for Tottenham in the 87th minute against West Ham, thereby catching Michael Owen on the list of greatest strikers in Premier League history. With this strike, Kane entered the Premier League’s top 10 most goalscorers of all time, reaching 150 goals.
Harry Kane scored the decisive goal for Tottenham
On Thursday, Kane scored his 200th goal for Tottenham in a Europa League win over Ludogorets. Just three days later, the England captain had another important milestone with a spectacular header against West Brom.
Kane is currently on par with Liverpool legend Michael Owen on the list – just 12 goals behind Jermain Defoe (162). Another icon of The Kop, Robbie Fowler, comes in at 7th place with 163 goals, meaning Kane can still make it through the 2020/21 season.
Harry Kane currently has 150 goals in the Premier League
Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry (175 goals) and Chelsea’s Frank Lampard (177) are the next targets that Kane will pursue. City’s Sergio Aguero is currently fourth with 180 Premier League goals and Andy Cole’s 187 goals.
Kane will then head to the club with 200 goals when MU legend Wayne Rooney holds 208 goals. However, there is still a long way to go for Kane to take the lead as Alan Shearer is far behind with 260 goals.
Kane overcame the legendary Arsenal and MU with the 200th goal
Harry Kane scored twice for Tottenham in the Europa League, thereby overcoming Arsenal and MU legends of bombing achievements.
Harry Kane scored his 200th goal for Tottenham in his 300th appearance as Spurs earned 3 more points at Ludogorets in the Europa League. England forward missed a good chance early and also hit the post before raising his number to 200 with a close-range strike from Lucas Moura’s pass.
Kane’s 200 goals in 300 games proved better than some of the greats like Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, and Wayne Rooney, and just behind Sergio Aguero. Arsenal legend Henry needs 321 games to score 200 goals, while Shearer is 380 games and Rooney 405 matches for MU.
Harry Kane reached 200 goals in his career
The special thing is that Kane has now achieved a 2-digit record for both scoring and assisting in all competitions this season. He scored 12 goals and made 10 assists in just 13 games, including a decisive pass for Moura to make the score against Ludogorets.
